Qualifications and training
I'm in my final year of the Professional Doctorate at the New School of Psychotherapy & Counselling in London and am registered with both BACP and UKCP as a trainee member. I adhere to the ethical standards and framework of both organisations.
My training is founded on existential philosophy and phenomenology with further studies in psychoanalytic, cognitive behavioural and family systems therapy. I draw on these different modes with a Humanistic and Integrative approach to therapy.
Over the past 2 ½ years, I have worked with clients through a range of issues related to work, health, family, relationships, and bereavement, for example. These challenges often arise during times of change and can be painful and overwhelming. I use a sensitive and co-creative approach to help clients explore their understanding and way of being in their world. This often leads to positive change and finding new possibilities.
